We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Club Welfare Officers Conference in November directly targeted at club members of staff who are working in safeguarding roles within their respective clubs.

Running in conjunction with England Boxing, the conference will cover wide ranging issues including:

• An introduction to Anti-Doping,
• DBS and Risk Assessment processes,
• An introduction to the work of the “Children Protection in Sport” Unit.

The conference will count as a revalidation of both Safeguarding and Time to Listen courses and is free of charge to attend.

The course will take place on Saturday 16th November, 10:00am-4:00pm at the University of Wolverhampton (Walsall Campus), Lecture Theatre WA0007, Gorway Road, Walsall, WS1 3BD.
