The British Judo Pre-Cadet, Cadet, Junior and Senior National Championships will be heading to Warwick in 2024.
The 2024 British Judo National Championships will take place at the University of Warwick, Sport and Wellness Hub across the weekends of 7th – 8th December and 14th – 15th December 2024.
The venue in Warwick staged the 2021 IBSA Grand Prix, the final qualification event before the Paralympic Games in Tokyo and it was the training venue for judo, wrestling, rugby 7s and squash during the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
Pre-Cadet and Cadet – Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December 2024
Junior and Senior – Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th December 2024
Speaking about the Championships moving to Warwick, British Judo Senior Events Officer, Jessica Hastings said: “The British Championships are the highlight of the national calendar and is always a great way to end the calendar year.
“British Judo is excited to host the 2024 British Championships Pre Cadet, Cadet, Junior and Senior age groups at the University of Warwick Sports and Wellness Hub.
“This will be the first time since the mid-2000s that we have left Sheffield for these events.
“We are looking to continue building on the event, creating a better experience for all attending. Utilising the new facilities at Warwick to showcase our sport.”
