British Judo Association Head Office Set For Relocation

The British Judo Association will soon be relocating its Head Offices to Walsall, in a move that will see all staff based in the West Midlands and within close proximity to the Centre of Excellence at the University of Wolverhampton.

Previously operating out of the Loughborough Technology Centre, the move is a first in a series of exciting upcoming announcements from British Judo and forms part of the organisation’s wider strategy to better engage and support existing and prospective members.

From Monday 2nd June, British Judo will be based at Kudhail House, 238 Birmingham Road, Great Barr, Birmingham, B43 7AH with a new office phone number of 0121 728 6920.

Commenting on the re-location, Chief Executive Andrew Scoular said: “It has long been our ambition to have all staff based in a centralised location with the synergies and efficiencies that this brings, and with the proposed move to Kudhail House nearing completion, it promises to be an exciting future for the Association.”

“The Marketing and Communications will be first to move into the office this Thursday while the staff based at our Loughborough site will be involved in a phased move over to Walsall in the coming months, during which time we remain as committed as ever to delivering the same high standards of service to our members.”

“Should we experience any minor disruptions during the move, we simply ask our members to bear with us and be assured that this will only be temporary.”

Members will be kept updated throughout as the move progresses and if you have any questions about the re-location, please contact bja@britishjudo.org.uk
