It’s Not Too Late to join the Technical Officials Course Running at Samurai Judo Club
June 07, 2018
“Being a technical official can be of great benefit to your club – and you get one of the best seats at a competition from which to watch the judo!”
Samurai Judo Club in Kidderminster will be holding an upcoming technical officials training course designed for candidates to qualify themselves as a Contest Recorder (CR) and a Senior Recorder (SR).
Those wishing to take the courses MUST register in advance.
Bring a notebook and Pen (no judogi required). Anybody may sit the CR course, parents and non-players are welcome.
Candidates for Senior Recorders must hold a current BJA membership to take the assessment at the end of the course (not required for CR).
There is no grade requirement for the qualifications; indeed, you don’t need to have done judo at all to become a Technical Official, although familiarity with referees’ words and signals will help.
Course Fee: FREE.
Date: Saturday 1st July 2018
Start Time: 9:30 for 9:45am
Estimated Finish Time: 4:00pm
To book a place, simply telephone or email Andrew to confirm attendance, no later than June 24th.
