Jamie MacDonald Memorial Championships Returns for 2019
April 03, 2019
The Jamie MacDonald Memorial Championships is set to return this May for the third edition of the one-day event in Wales.
Previously known as the Brain Tumour Charity Tournament, the event has helped raise thousands of pounds for the charity in memory of Jamie.
Welsh Commonwealth judoka Jamie MacDonald sadly lost a two battle with cancer in 2017 aged just 26.
With field sizes in excess of 200 over the previous years, it promises to be another bumper weekend of judo in Cardiff.
Taking place on 11th May, followed by a masterclass with Karen Briggs MBE on the 12th, entry costs just £22.00 with all profits donated to the Brain Tumour Charity.
The closing date for entries is 27th April or when the competition is full.
