Free lessons for beginners at Battlehill Judo Club thanks to Comic Relief Community Cash scheme
May 28, 2012
With the help of funding from Comic Relief Red Nose Day Community Cash scheme, Battlehill Judo club are offering an introductory judo course available to both children and adults.
The funding was arranged via the community foundation, a North East charity who ensures the generosity of individuals, families, businesses and charities is matched with excellent groups and individuals that bring people together, provide great services and activities and make our area a better place to enjoy life.
Last year the Community Foundation managed £47.4m on behalf of more than 250 donor funds and awarded more than £4.7m in grants to over 1,600 local groups and individuals.
The club is looking for students to take part in the introductory course, to be held at Churchill Community college on a Wednesday evening over a six week period.
To register for the course contact head coach and 4th Dan Malcolm Young on m@bhjudo.com or 07803 745184
