A young team of judo players who have been training hard at the British Judo Centre of Excellence will represent Great Britain at the 2014 Sarajevo European Cup in Bosnia this weekend.
Lucas Rowe and Sam Hall will represent Great Britain at -60kg as both players hope to stay in the medals. Both have had a successive run, Rowe winning Senior English Open silver and Hall the Junior English Open bronze as well as bronze in Coimbra Portugal.
Senior English Open gold medallist Philip Awiti-Alcaraz (-100kg is joined by Max Stewart (-81kg) who as well as gaining silver at the English Open, came fifth at the Junior Worlds and European Championships (U21).
Jonothan Drane (-73kg) also joins the team after his success at the Visually Impaired Open in Germany and will be looking to place or medal in a sighted competition.
Meanwhile, Amy Livesey is the only British woman to fight and will try out -63kg for size, having previously fought at -70kg.
