British Judo signs up to Mental Health Charter for Sport and Recreation
July 20, 2015
The British Judo Association is pleased to announce that it has signed up to The Mental Health Charter for Sport and Recreation.
Every year one-in-four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem. The Sport and Recreation Alliance together with Professional Players Federation and mental health charity Mind drew up the charter promising to use the power of sport to tackle the stigma of mental health.
The British Judo Association and over 150 organisations including Sport England, have signed up to the charter so far.
