Mental Health Charity Launches Online Coach Revalidation

Mental Health Charity “MIND“, in partnership with 1st4sport and UK Coaching, and funded by Sport England and the National Lottery, have developed a course that is suitable for coaches and workforce developers who which to increase their awareness about Mental Health in sport.
This online ‘Mental Health Awareness for Sport and Physical Activity’ course – will increase your knowledge and understanding of mental health, providing you with the practical skills and strategies to be able to (taken from MIND website):
- Build people’s resilience, self-esteem and confidence
- Adapt your sessions to make them more inclusive
- Enable and support mental health recovery, and
- Tackle stigma and discrimination.

British Judo Coaches that decide to complete this online course will be able to use this as one coach revalidation CPD.
