MEMBERSHIP DOJO UPDATE
September 02, 2022
Over the last couple of months, British Judo has been working on implementing the Association’s latest digital platform, the new membership dojo.
Many British Judo members have now accessed the new dojo and renewed their membership however, there are still certain membership services which have been delayed as part of the initial release.
Grading data for each member is currently being administered and uploaded to the membership dojo for members to view. During the lengthy upload process, the dojo does not support membership management for club coaches and officials. This facility is expected to be functional in the coming weeks together with the administration of gradings and certificates.
During this time, we kindly ask that members do not contact our membership team with queries relating to new gradings and certificates with the exception of Dan Grades which will continue to be processed. For all Dan Grade queries, please contact Sarah Walker (NDGA) – sarah.walker@britishjudo.org.uk
We continue to encourage members to use the new dojo for membership renewals as this is the quickest method to renew. Any members who are unable to renew their membership online are now able to renew over the phone. It is expected that the phone lines will be extremely busy with renewal requests, so please be patient and our membership team will deal with your query as quickly as possible. If you wish to renew over the phone, please call 0121 728 6920 (option 4).
Digital technologies are driving a new industrial revolution and our digital dojo transition has not come without its challenges. Remaining committed and focused on delivering the Association’s strategic goal to digitally transform the organisation, the BJA would like to thank members for their cooperation and patience during the challenging transformation period.
