The Power of Knowledge – Take ownership of your learning
Throughout this week, British Judo have been following National Inclusion Week’s Daily Actions. Inclusive Employers launched the Daily Actions to encourage people to actively drive inclusive practice in their workplace.
Today’s theme focuses on the power of knowledge with the daily action being to take ownership of your learning. Across the judo community, there are many opportunities where you can focus on your learning and personal development, this might be through completing online courses, attending a masterclass/training or participating in an event!

Inclusive Employers webinars
Inclusive Employers are delivering a wide variety of webinar sessions throughout the month of October, there is a focus on race inclusion for Black History Month. As well as BHM webinars, a broad range of inclusion topics, are also offered.

Accelerate Sport
Accelerate Sport has created a variety of courses in partnership with EDI sector leaders, the courses allow you to continue with your own professional development while learning valuable information that might also benefit the people around you.

Duty to Care Toolkit
UK Coaching is offering the “Duty to Care Toolkit” to coaches for free, within this toolkit there are knowledge checks around the five pillars of duty to care. Once coaches have completed the learning tasks in the toolkit, they will earn a nationally recognised digital badge.
The badge is an indication of a commitment to great coaching, proof that coaches have demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the principles of duty to care, and evidence of CPD.

Masterclass with Olympic and World champion Yoko Tanabe!
This coach revalidation event is free to coaches. However, tickets can be purchased on the day by any competitive judoka that wish to attend.
