The snow may have been falling in Sheffield for the final day of the British Championships, but the seniors in action today certainly turned up the temperature inside the EIS Arena.

14 British Champions were crowned as attention turned to our senior age group this weekend.

The first gold medal of the day was awarded to Summer Shaw (Camberley JC) who returned after winning the Junior title on Saturday.

Shaw defeated Caitlin Barber (Middlesborough JC) in the final after Barber was awarded a 3^rd shido in Golden Score.

British Judo Junior Female Athlete of the Year, Tatum Keen (Bradley Stoke JC) stepped up to the senior ranks to claim the -52kg gold medal, defeating Sian Bobrowska (Hardy Spicer 83) in Golden Score.

Neil MacDonald (Judo Scotland) took gold in the -60kg category ahead of Josh Giles (Coventry JC).

There was another Junior and Senior British double title as Ammi Takahashi (Ealing JC) topped the -63kg podium ahead of Katie Mills (Camberley JC).

Following her bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games earlier this year, Malin Wilson (Asociacion Judo Mostoles) added the British title to her haul after defeating Judo Scotland teammate Josie Steele (Tanoshii/Highland Budokan) in the -57kg final.

Shelley Ludford (JC Osaka) returned from injury to regain the -78kg British title that she last won in 2019. Ludford defeated Cordelia Gregory (Drake) in the final.

Michael Fryer (Rush Judo) finally picked up the Senior National title that has eluded him over the years. In the final, Fryer defeated Commonwealth Games silver medallist Finlay Allan (Camberley JC).

Wesley Greenidge (Enfield JC) defended his British title defeating Paralympic Champion, and eventual bronze medallist, Chris Skelley (Haltemprice JC/ East Yorkshire JA) in the Semi-Final before victory against Thomas Humphrey (Pinewood JC) in the final.

Rhys Thompson ensured it would be two gold medals for Enfield JC as he retained his British title. Thompson faced fellow Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Harry Lovell-Hewitt (Stroud JC) in the final and with nothing between the pair, the contest entered Golden Score, where in the 8^th minute, Thompson registered a waza-ari score the win gold.

In the +78kg category, Christi-Rose Pretorius (Army Judo) was victorious against 2021 silver medallist Lucy Williams (Anglia Ruskin JC/ JC Osaka).

Simone Cross (Camberley JC) claimed gold in the -70kg category ahead of Gwen Jackson (Tees Valley JC).

Luke Davies (Ealing JC) made it two gold medals in two days as he added Senior gold to the Junior Gold he won on Saturday. Davies defeated Daniel Pacitti (Jidel Judo 93) in the final with two waza-ari scores.

There was a surprise victory for Del Imrie (Jidel Judo 93) in the -81kg category. Unseeded Imrie defeated top seed Adam Adaman (Budokwai) in the final to claim gold.

In the final contest of the day, Adam Hoshal (Budokwai/ The Judo Factory) claimed the -90kg title with victory against Spencer Lambert (Huddersfield JC).
