British Judo clubs can play host to ALDI’s new ‘Get a Taste of Sport’ initiative

British Judo in partnership with TLC Worldwide are encouraging all affiliated clubs to sign up to the National Sports Network and play host to ALDI’s new ‘Get a Taste of Sport’ initiative.

The purpose of the National Sports Network is to provide accessibility to both children and adults to a broad range of sports throughout the UK.

Driven by its belief that ‘Every Kid Can’ the network aspires to offer sports to all social and economic backgrounds – highlighting inclusivity and diversity, whilst offering a wide choice of sports to try.

The next campaign is launching this summer with Aldi (famous for its links with Team GB and Paralympics GB) and will reach a customer base of over 40 million – many of who will be looking to try a new sport – hopefully Judo!

Being part of the National Sports Network enables you to play host to ALDI’s new ‘Get a Taste of Sport’ initiative and be included in their local directory.

For clubs who would like to host free taster sessions, the requirement is to provide one child or one adult, or both, a free trial session during times that suit you – allowing you to reach new potential members but only at times when you have the capacity. Every individual venue can set its own terms and conditions, so it fits in with your current classes/ sessions/ lessons adding bulk in participation.

Benefits to clubs include:

  • A free opportunity to advertise your business in your local area and on a national scale, leading to repeat visits and increased footfall.
  • Attract new members who have not participated before or who may not have been aware of you previously.
  • Access a fantastic opportunity to upsell to customers during their visit.
  • No marketing cost to you!

Join today and introduce the joy of Judo to a whole new audience – and maybe even find a star of tomorrow!
