Learning through collaboration and culture
May 09, 2024
The adaptive team are currently in Japan on a training camp with judoka from Japan, Netherlands, Britain and Australia where they are working with the wider community of II, adaptive and mainstream players at Nihon Bunka University, sharing experiences, knowledge and making new friends.
Sessions have been delivered by a spread of experts in their field, including our own Kerry Tansey and Laurie Rush.
‘It’s been a great experience for our judoka, current and developing II judoka to catch up, make new friends and embrace the culture’ stated Kerry who also thanked Mr Hamana and Mr Rudi Verhagen for planning and hosting the event.
