Introducing British Judo’s Paris Roadshow
October 16, 2024
It has been an epic last couple of months for judo and in particular, our British athletes!
Following the Paris Olympics and Paralympic Games, we are pleased to launch our Paris Roadshow featuring the likes of Paralympic Silver medallist Dan Powell, Bronze medallist Chris Skelley, Chelsie Giles, Emma Reid and a host of World Class Performance athletes, which will see our athletes becoming available to clubs for athletes appearances, Q&As and technical masterclasses.
Our previous Tokyo Roadshow engaged with over 1,000 judoka across 20 masterclasses and covered the entire performance pathway from grassroots right up to the England Judo programme.
This opportunity will be open to clubs and/or British Judo Areas and will be available for the remainder of the year so don’t miss out on the opportunity to have a GB athlete head down to your club/area.
There will be a set appearance fee for each athlete in which the club will need to cover as part of the roadshow.
“Paris Roadshow” options include:
Technical Masterclasses
On mat technical delivery, (Evening/weekend daytime) (Max 4 hours)
£500, plus reasonable travel expenses
Athlete appearance
Photos/Autographs/Q&A (Max 1 hour – No physical Judo delivery)
(Could be in a Club, Business or School environment)
Price to be discussed based on requirements plus reasonable travel expenses
The athlete will receive 100% of the fee from each appearance
We will try and facilitate as many appearances as possible depending on the athlete’s schedules. We will work alongside each selected club/area to help promote the event and drive media attention to the visits to further engage new audiences for the sport.
*All athletes are subject to availability.
