The “Kata for All” programme provides a high-quality and complete teaching method for all the original basic judo techniques and principles. It is highly flexible and can be readily adapted for judoka of different profiles – children, young people, competitors or the elderly.
British Judo are pleased to announce that Dr Slavisa Bradic IJF 7th dan will be delivering the IJF “Kata for All” programme on 7th September 2025.
Taking place at: St Albans Judo Club, Batchwood Golf and Sports Centre,
Batchwood Drive, St Albans, Hertfordshire. AL3 5XA.
This course is normally run over 2 days but had been adapted to be completed in 1 day
This course will be led by EJU Kata Commissioner, Dr Slavisa Bradic IJF 7th dan, who will deliver the IJF “Kata for All” programme, which has been developed by the IJF Academy to promote the judo values and increase the popularity of kata.
Dr Bradic is the IJF Academy Education Director, a member of IJF Kata Commission and the head of the EJU Kata Commission. He is a graduate of Anglia Ruskin University and has an earned doctorate from the University of Hertfordshire, where his research topic was judo as a method of moral development.
This course is suitable for qualified BJA Kata Judges, Senior Kata Examiners and Kata Examiners, and qualified BJA Coaches of any level.
All judoka must wear white or off white Judogi.
All are advised that there will be limited refreshments of tea and coffees and are advised to bring a packed lunch
