Dear Judoka, Coaches, and Families,

On behalf of England Judo, I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making the English Open 2025 such a fantastic event.

This was a long and demanding weekend, and we recognise the dedication and effort put in by athletes, coaches, families, and officials to make it a success. From early starts to late finishes, the commitment and passion from everyone involved were clear to see. Your patience, resilience, and sportsmanship are what make events like this possible.

To our judoka, your hard work and determination were evident in every contest. Whether you took home a medal or valuable experience, stepping onto the mat at this level is an achievement in itself.

To our coaches, your guidance and advocacy to develop our athletes, both in their performance and in upholding the values of judo. Your support throughout the long day did not go unnoticed.

To our families and supporters, we appreciate your patience and encouragement, especially with the extended schedule. Your support is crucial in keeping judoka motivated and focused.

We acknowledge that there are areas where we can strengthen future events.
