“A Safe Return To Judo” Guidelines Released
June 29, 2020
British Judo are pleased to bring you the first edition of our “Safe Return To Judo” paperwork for clubs and members.
This advice will be updated on a regular basis dependent on Government Advice.
Following the recent announcement, we unfortunately have no timescale as to when the sport can return, but our advice will hopefully allow clubs to prepare venues accordingly ready for when the Government will allow indoor sports to return.
We are holding a number of webinars over the coming weeks tailored for specific stakeholder groups within the sport focusing on a safe return. The first edition took place this Saturday with our Sports team, led by Colin McIver and Joyce Heron, who will spoke to Club representatives about recommended preparations for their venue. The next webinar is scheduled for Wednesday and will focus on providing guidance for Coaches. Click here for more information
PLEASE NOTE: This is advice is based on English clubs only, with the Home Nations (Scotland/Wales/Ireland) currently in different stages of lockdown so they will publish their own advice.
