All Judo Seminar

It is now just less than one week to go to the All Judo Seminar at Warwick University, Coventry Campus on Sunday 19th February.  Thank you to those that have already registered.

Registration will remain open until 12.30pm on Friday 17 February.  We have now also added a  Zoom option for the final session at 3pm, which you must register for and the Zoom link will then be sent directly to the email address provided.

Judo is a magnificent sport that when delivered correctly, can have a tremendous impact on all who take part. The majority of judoka are in environments that practice the sport responsibly and safely – we need to ensure that every Judo environment, throughout Great Britain, allows participants to enjoy our sport and benefit from the positive impact it can have on their lives.

In a bid to assure all Judo activity across the country is safe and accessible, we hope to gather all providers of Judo in Great Britain to discuss and agree on the minimum standards needed to deliver a high-quality experience of our sport.

These minimum standards will aim to protect participants, coaches, clubs, schools, local authorities and leisure providers to ultimately protect the integrity of Judo in Great Britain.

Everybody involved in the delivery of Judo in Great Britain is invited to give their point of view, commitment and contribution.

The ‘All Judo Seminar’ will provide a proactive platform for the discussion and agreement of the desired standards to take place.  It is being organised by the British Judo Association in conjunction with the British Judo Council and will be independently facilitated.

Supported by UK Sport and Sport England, the All Judo Seminar is open to all Judo Coaches, Clubs and providers of Judo in Great Britain.

We kindly ask that those who wish to attend register their interest ahead of the seminar. Please complete and submit the registration form provided below.
