Club Notice RE: BJC/AJA Affiliation Agreement

Following some in-depth discussions between the British Judo Association (BJA) Board and the British Judo Council (BJC) & Amateur Judo Association (AJA), we are pleased to announce that we have agreed to immediately lift the suspension of the Affiliation Agreement (as of Thursday 4th July) to allow BJC and AJA members to once again train and enter BJA events.

The BJA will continue discussions on the future relationships with BJC and the AJA, in regards to the agreed ‘Three Step Safe’ standards required of all clubs – which has been developed to ensure the best environment for all participants of judo – as well as the ongoing affiliation agreement.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused for members and clubs this week.
