Destination Judo Demo at Spennymoor Town Show

On Saturday 3 September, Destination Judo Durham were invited to complete a judo demonstration in the annual Spennymoor Town Show. Players from across Durham attended the event demonstrating fantastic Judo techniques. Members who attended had varied experience, which ranged from two months experience all the way up to five years.

Each member was able to demonstrate their favourite throws and worked together as a team to wow the residents of Spennymoor and our special guest Jimmy the Lion with their outstanding Judo.

Once the demonstrations were completed local children joined the mat and were treated to some fantastic judo coaching from the Destination Judo team. Thank you to Spennymoor Council for the opportunity to show off how hard these players work every week learning this Olympic sport.
