Entry Lists for 2020 British Schools Championships

The 2020 British Schools Championships is taking place on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.

The Saturday will feature Years 8 and 9, and Years 10 and 11, while Sunday sees Years 6 and 7, Years 12 and 13, and Adaptive and Visually Impaired judoka compete.

The weigh-ins will take place in the Basketball Hall at English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.

Saturday 14th March 2020: Years 8 and 9, and Years 10 and 11

08:15 – 09:00      Academic Years 8 and 9

11:30 – 12:30       Academic Years 10 and 11

10:00am               Competition starts

Sunday 15th March 2020: Years 6 and 7, and Years 12 and 13

08:15 – 09:00   Academic Years 6 and 7

10:30 – 11:30     Academic Years 12 and 13

10:00am            Competition starts

All competitors MUST bring their VALID judo licence and proof of grade (record book) to registration. It is recommended that coaches complete gradings 1 month prior the event.

As a high number of the competitors are going to be under 18, an open weigh-in will take place at this event.

All female and male year 6 & 7 competitors MUST present themselves to the weigh-in wearing competition acceptable judogi trousers and must wear a plain crew neck t-shirt for weigh ins.

All other male competitors (years 8 to 13) MUST present themselves to the weigh-in wearing competition acceptable judogi trousers

Male competitors will receive a 0.5kg allowance; female and male years 6 & 7 competitors a 0.6kg allowance.

Players are NOT permitted to change in the designated official weigh-in area.
