Entry Lists for Northern Ireland Open Championships 2018 Now Available

The entry lists for this weekends upcoming 2018 Northern Ireland Open Championships are now available for download ahead of the first day of competition on Saturday.
The two day competition will see six different age categories battling it out to be named Irish champion in their weight. Saturday will see junior, senior and Masters athletes take to the mat, while Sunday sees Minors, Pre-Cadets and Cadets competing.
Please take note of the following points ahead of the weekend:
Eligibility:
All players must have a current up-to-date membership of the BJA, NIJF, WJA or JudoScotland. All international players must produce proof of membership to their federation.
Saturday:
Junior Event: Players must be born in the years 1998-2003 (all Cadets may also fight in Junior category)
Senior Event: Players must be 14 years of age or older on the day of the event
Masters Event: Players must be 30 years of age or older on the day of the event
Minimum grade – Green Belt
Weigh in:
Seniors, Juniors and Masters on Friday 20th April 2018
19:00hrs – 20.30hrs
and
Masters only on Saturday 21st April 2018
12:00hrs – 12:30hrs
Sunday:
Cadets: Players must be born in the years 2001, 2002, or 2003 – minimum grade orange belt (7th mon)
Pre-Cadets: Players must be born in the years 2004 or 2005 – minimum grade yellow belt (4th mon)
Minors: Players must be born in the years 2006 – 2009 – minimum grade yellow belt (4th mon)
Weigh In:
Cadet Boys – 08:30am – 09:00am
Cadet Girls – 09.30am – 10.00am
Pre-Cadets & Minors – 11:00am – 11:45am
It is the Judoka’s responsibility to check that their licence is in date and that they meet the eligibility criteria to compete.
