Gymnastics for Judo and Animal Games
The aim of the ‘Gymnastics for Judo’ module is to, through gymnastic activities and processes, develop young judo players with good body control and awareness, enabling them to potentially perform more efficiently, technically and competitively in our sport, from grass roots through to future elite level.
The aim of the ‘Animal Games’ module is to teach through a variety of fun mat-based “animal movements” and games, exercises which will help to develop fundamental movement and co-ordination skills and increase whole body power, strength and endurance. The course is aimed at training young judoka aged 5 right up to seniors and is a GENERIC module open to coaches of all levels.
