IJF Rules Seminar with Neil Adams MBE and Lisa Rivers
January 6, 2025
As we turn our attention to the Los Angeles cycle, the International Judo Federation (IJF) will shortly be reviewing the technical rules of judo at their upcoming seminar in Istanbul on 14th-15th December.
These new rules will be implemented across the IJF World Tour starting from the Paris Grand Slam – due to take place on 1st-2nd February 2025.
To ensure that the judo community are fully prepared for these updates, we will be hosting a seminar with Neil Adams MBE and Lisa Rivers on Monday 6th January 2025, with entry for Coaches, Referees and Fighters across the country.
The seminar will provide a thorough breakdown of the latest IJF adjustments from both Neil’s perspective as an Analyst and Coach, and Lisa’s perspective as a Referee and clarify how these changes will affect competition.
The schedule of the day has not yet been finalised until we gain an understanding of the new rules and whether a practical element will be required alongside a series of presentations and Q&A opportunities.
