Five medals and best team award for British youngsters in Italy

British juniors starred at the latest Junior European Cup in Tarvisio, Italy as they claimed five medals including three gold.
-73kg starlet Max Stewart, who took bronze at the Portugal Junior European Cup in March, won all six contests to storm to gold in Italy.
In the 81kg category, English Junior Open champion Matthew Kavanagh won four contests and narrowly lost out in the final to take an impressive silver medal.
In the -90kg field Sam Potts took fifth-place while Philip-Awiti Alcaraz, the 2012 Commonwealth Openweight champion, continued his fine form as he claimed his sixth gold medal of the year.
The -57kg category saw Nekoda Davis, Nothern Ireland junior and senior open champion, took gold while Jemima Duxberry clinched -63kg bronze.
Meanwhile in Romania, at the Cadets European Cup, Britain’s Emma Pang finished in fifth-place in the -48kg category.
