Coach Revalidation Opportunity: Transgender Awareness Training
As part of “National Inclusion Week” next week, we would like to invite you to attend “Transgender Awareness Training” with National Trainer, Saorsa-Amatheia Tweedale.
The session, which will be held virtually on Zoom, will be on Wednesday 29 September starting at 7:00pm and will last for approximately 90 minutes (free of charge).
It will be a wonderful opportunity to upskill in this area of inclusion and hopefully provoke thought on how we can be more inclusive within our judo community and potentially attract more members from the transgender community.
There will be a maximum of 30 places available for the training so therefore please register your interest at the earliest opportunity by contacting Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Manager Sami Smithson on sami.smithson@britishjudo.org.uk.
This event will be classed as a revalidation event for coaches but it is open to all members and their families.
