The Kaidokan Judo Academy are thrilled to announce the launch of a full-time community hub at the historic Revoe Gymnasium in Blackpool.

This initiative has sparked excitement across Revoe, the wider Blackpool community, and beyond, The Kaidokan Judo Academy now provides a dedicated space where people of all ages, genders, abilities, and disabilities can engage in sport, fitness, and personal development.

With esteemed leadership from Ross Goodwin, the hub is set to inspire young athletes, promote healthy lifestyles, and foster a sense of unity within the community.

The response has been incredible,said Ross.Blackpool has a rich sporting history, and I’m proud to give back to the town that has supported me throughout my career. This hub is about more than just training—it’s about building confidence and a positive future for everyone who walks through the doors.”

The Revoe Gymnasium, known for its deep roots in Blackpool’s sporting culture, has now transformed into a centre of excellence for judo, professional wrestling, and community engagement. Operating seven days a week, the facility will host a diverse range of activities, including:

  • Judo and Pro Wrestling Training
  • Sports Camps
  • Wellbeing and Fitness Classes
  • Workshops on Self-Defence and Youth Development

By making sport and wellness accessible to all, the hub is set to become a cornerstone of the community, nurturing talent and encouraging individuals to lead healthier lives.

Local residents and aspiring athletes have already embraced the initiative, recognizing it as a game-changer for the area. “Ross is not just a champion in the ring; he’s a champion for Blackpool,” said one community member. “This hub is going to change lives.”
