Matt Divall Leaves Role as Head of Performance Pathways

British Judo announces that Matt Divall will be moving on from his role as Head of Performance Pathways at the end of March 2025.

Since rejoining British Judo in 2022, Matt Divall has been instrumental in developing and strengthening our performance pathway, ensuring that talented judoka across the UK have the support and opportunities needed to progress towards success on the international stage. His leadership, expertise, and passion for athlete development have been invaluable in shaping the future of our sport.

Divall has worked closely with coaches, clubs, home nation programmes, and athletes to enhance the pathway structure and provide a solid foundation for continued success at Olympic and Paralympic level. His deep knowledge of the performance system, combined with his broad experience across elite sport, has left a lasting impact on British Judo.

As Divall moves on to new opportunities, we would like to express our gratitude for his contributions and wish him all the best for the future. We have no doubt he will continue to make a significant impact in the world of sport, and we look forward to seeing what comes next for him.
