Nekoda Davis may be the youngest member of the team but her form this year has been very impressive. An emotional gold at the Zagreb Grand Prix along with further medals in Baku and Samsun have put her in a strong position not only for Astana but also for the Rio Olympic qualification race.

“I’m feeling quite privileged to go to the World Championships but I’ve earnt it as well so yeah I’m just looking forward to competing.
“I think it’s quite a big deal and obviously there’s a lot of points up for grabs, 700 points if you win the tournament so you could pretty much seal the deal in a few weeks if you go and do well. I think I can compete at this level and I don’t think that there’s anyone I can’t beat if I put my mind to it so if it happens on the day it happens.”
