Mental Health Awareness Week 2022 – Useful Courses

Monday 9th May – Sunday 15th May 2022 is Mental Health Awareness week. The theme for Mental Health Awareness week 2022 is loneliness.
Did you know, around 6.3% of people in England have reported feel lonely, and it can affect anyone at any age.
There are many benefits of how sport can improve mental health. The British Judo Association are always supporting our judoka across all levels with their mental health. Noticing the signs of poor mental health in children, young people and adults early is key. There are courses available to help notice the early signs.
Accelerate Sport
Accelerate Sport have bought together sector leaders in the Mental Health for Young People for the Sport Sector to create a comprehensive learning pathway.
Created in partnership with the likes of Team Mental Health, Dr Richard Allison and Dean Burnett you can be confident that the content is relevant, engaging and based on the latest research and practice.
All our courses are also accredited by Cimspa and the pathway will give learners 8 CPD points on completion.
The Pathway will be available to access from the 4th April 2022, however it is available for ‘pre-purchase’ with a 25% saving on normal price during March.

Children and Young People’s Mental Health
The effects of the pandemic on children’s mental health have been challenging – it is vital we do all we can to protect them and prevent long-term effects.
