Neil Fletcher Elected to British Judo Board
August 15, 2018
After a month long vote, Neil Fletcher has been elected to the Board of Directors of the British Judo Association.
Running along side Stanley Cantrill, John Paul Malkinson, Richard Martin and Ross Taylor, Neil received the most votes and as a result will take up a seat on the board as the Elected Non-Executive Director.
The Board of Directors has the responsibility for setting the direction, establishing policy and overseeing the activities of judo clubs across Great Britain.
The election was carried out by independent electoral organisation, UK Engage who ran the election on behalf of the BJA.
The election for the position is a result of our strategic Governance Implementation Plan to ensure that the Association becomes Code Compliant with UK Sport’s Code of Sports Governance.
