TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: 7 GB JUDOKA SET FOR JUNIOR EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS, PRAGUE, CZE

British Judo has announced the final team that will compete at the Junior European Championships in Prague, Czech Republic from 15th – 17th September 2022.
Three junior judoka from Bradley Stoke Judo Club have will be competing in Prague, including Ethan Nairne, Ryan Rijksen-Salman and Tatum Keen.
After winning a bronze medal in the Coimbra Junior European Cup and being selected for the Junior World Championships squad, Ethan Nairne will be returning to compete in Prague in the -73kg category.
Rijksen-Salman, who was also selected as part of the Junior World Championships squad representing Great Britain will be fighting in the men’s -90kg category.
Bradley Stoke’s Tatum Keen will be joined by Hannah Wood from Sportif in the women’s -52kg category. With three European Junior Cup medals in 2022 Keen will be a strong contender for a podium position whilst Wood will be looking to add to her gold and bronze medal which she claimed at this year’s Poznan Junior European Cup and Coimbra Junior European Cup respectively.
Charlotte Jenman* (Tonbridge Judo Club) has been named as a non-travelling reserve for the women’s -52kg category. after a strong performance so far this year with a gold medal, three bronze medals and fifth place at the European Youth Summer Olympic Festival.
Ammi Takahashi from Ealing Judo Club picked up a gold medal in the Prague Junior European Cup last month and will compete in the women’s -57kg category.
And finally, Simone Cross (Camberley Judo Club)who won bronze at the Coimbra Junior European Cup this year, has been selected to represent Great Britain in the women’s -70kg category,
