Our friends at Howden are committed to supporting sports and recreation clubs with their insurance and understand how clubs can often have a challenge purchasing new equipment, kit, or raising funds for much-needed changes at clubhouses or venues.

They are pleased to launch their “Howden Grassroots Heroes competition”, along with Hiscox, to help with these obstacles.

Do you have a volunteer at your club who deserves recognition? Whether it’s a groundskeeper, a treasurer, or there’s someone who always turns up to help out with coffees or fundraisers, now’s your chance to let them know how what they do makes a difference.

By nominating a volunteer at your club for the hard work they’ve been putting in, you will have a chance of winning £500 to invest in their club, with two runners-up each receiving £250 for their club.
