World Judo Championships on BT Sport

Highlights from the 2015 World Judo Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan will be shown on British tv from 8pm tonight (Monday 21 September) on BT Sport 2.

Three consecutive highlights programmes will show the best action from the men’s, women’s and team competitions in Astana back in August where an eight strong British team competed for medals and vital Rio qualification points.

Gemma Gibbons (-78kg) produced the best performance of the Championships from a British perspective with a seventh place finish though there were strong showings from Nekoda Davis (-57kg) and Ben Fletcher (-100kg) in their second and first World Championships respectively, as they both made the third round.
